Summer Time Tackle Tips:

“So many lures so little time”

It would be crazy if someone tried to use every single lure out on the market. I am sure in the right condition most lures will work. I just like to stay basic and use what will produce. Once, you start buying into every new lure that comes out, you will find yourself over loaded with tackle and you will also find yourself changing lures more than you are fishing……I should know! I used to be that person and I learned real quickly that if you stay to the fundamentals, you will put more fish in the boat. You will see the word “FUNDAMENTALS” a lot because every sport has its fundamentals. Too many people forget that fundamentals will make you a better angler and once you have gotten the fundamentals down, then you can work on new tactics……….

In the picture below, you will see my fundamental lures. These are my go to lures and they produce. Now, that does not mean you will just pick up one of these lures up and catch 20 Snook. You have to use some of these at the right time and some of these I use in any condition because it is a proven lure. In my next “Tackle Tip” we will get into when to use these lures and the reason why I use them at certain times. We will also go over colors and sizes.
